Within the framework of the 3rd International Scientific and Practical Conference “21st Century University Infomedia”, a 6-hour Cisco Systems master class is planned to be held on “Cisco technologies for university’s educational environment organization”.

Organizer: Cisco Systems Training Center.

All interested conference participants will have an opportunity:

• To get familiar with the content and teaching methods of the international educational programme “Cisco Networking Academy Program” as well as with the experience in applying this programme in Russian universities.
• To gain practical skills in operating different Cisco equipment.
• To get familiar with approved architecture and functional Cisco solutions for university’s IT infrastructure (IP-telephony, video conference communication, routing, security, including encoding systems, remote access, and data storage systems).

On the basis of final testing results, master class participants will receive Cisco Systems certificates.

The cost of training is 3,000 roubles. Therefore, the organization fee for conference participants willing to receive this training will be 5,950 roubles.

Applications for training are to be submitted to the Conference Organizing Committee, at it2009@petrsu.ru. The number of work stations in the computer class is limited!

Forms of work

The conference programme includes plenary and workshop papers.

A business meeting is planned to be held within the framework of the conference, with members of the "All-Russian Association of universities - Oracle users" involved together with representatives of Oracle Corporation and “FORS - Development Centre” Ltd., as well as interested representatives of other universities from Russia, CIS and abroad.

Conference fee

Conference fee for educational institutions of higher professional education of 2950 roubles (including VAT of 450 rbls) can be transferred to the settlement account of RRC RK at Petrozavodsk SU, or paid upon registration at the conference.

Conference fee includes:
• copying of conference proceedings and programme for each participant • design and layout development of a CD containing conference contributions, paper presentations, and photo materials • copying of compact disks • unofficial dinner • coffee breaks

The cost of “absent” participation in the conference (publication of abstracts in Conference Proceedings, posting of materials) is equal to 700 roubles (including VAT of 106 rbls. 78 copecks).

Travel and accommodation (including meals) expenses are to be paid by participants themselves.
